The Blessed Tree is a great tree that grew in the eastern Jordanian desert in the Al-Buqay'awiyyah region. It is located 10 km from the road leading to the town of Al-Safawi, which is located on the international road leading to the Iraqi border. It is called the Al-Buqay'awiyyah Tree or the Tree of Life. It is an old and long-lived mastic tree that grows strangely and amazingly and tells of a great secret and event. It was named the Blessed Tree because the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, rested under it during his journey to trade with Sayyidah Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, may Allah be pleased with her, to Syria before he was sent by Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
