The Council of Endowments, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites
The Council is responsible for setting the general policy of the Ministry, developing the regulations governing the Ministry's work, and organizing its affairs in various areas of its work.
The Council of Endowments, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites consists of:
- The Minister of Endowments, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites: Chairman
- The Grand Mufti of the Kingdom: Member
- The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs, and Holy Sites: Member
- A representative from the Ministry of Culture: Member
- A representative from the Ministry of Interior: Member
- A representative from the Ministry of Education: Member
- A representative from the Ministry of Public Works and Housing: Member
- A representative from the Ministry of Local Administration: Member
- A representative from the Department of the Chief Justice: Member
- The Director General of the Endowments Funds Development Department: Member
- The Director General of the Hajj and Umrah Department: Member
- The Director General of the Jordanian Hajj Fund: Member
- A representative from the Central Bank: Member
- A representative from the Department of Lands and Survey: Member
- Four persons interested in Islamic affairs, two of whom have experience in the field of economics and investment.
